2016 Pick Up With a Purpose

Scouts from Pack 996 helped transport and sort clothes from lost and founds from all the schools in the district.  Clothes and items were to be donated to charity.

2016 School Beautification – Earth Day

Pack 996 and the Girl Scouts of Quail Run teamed up to beautify the school for Earth Day.  They removed weeds, planted bushes and trees, and placed stepping stones (that they made themselves!).  Great job Scouts! Scouting for Food

One of Scouting’s foundational principles is “doing a good turn daily.” Scouts at all levels of our program participate in good turns and service projects. Some of these are for a rank advancement, the most famous being the Eagle Scout project. Others are being good citizens or environmental programs to make our neighborhoods and communities better places to live. Do you know about Scouting for Food?
